This animatic story embodies my desire to make people proud to be from Englewood/Chicago and the story is meant to bring out the imagination, wonder and beauty of where I grew up to counter the negative narrative that dominates so much of the media and create my own. There's so much beauty in the city and you don't have to dig deep to find it. It's right in front of you. Chicago has 77 neighborhoods and it woudln't be what it is without Englewood's existence.
